I write historical fiction which means zeroing in on a time period in a locality, researching the events that affected those people and its land, and creating additional characters to enhance the story line to make it enjoyable reading. I write in the classical style, enlightening readers of means and methods of survival in a harsh New World.
I will write your story. You get me the stories and pictures if needed and I will "ghost" write your story and get it in publishable format. Contact me for cost.

History of Hats: Presentation traces the history of hats for men and women from the early times until today. I bring samples to show. Often, the people attending bring or wear special hats in their collection. If attendees have been asked to wear a hat, I spend time asking each what the significance of that personal hat is. Presentation is a good choice for a fund raiser, women's meeting or a tea.
History of Purses: Presentation traces the history of purses for men and women from the early Greek times until today. Often purses become the centerpieces of a table for a meeting or tea. I bring samples to show. Last, I ask the attendees to place the purse that was brought unto the table or lap and we discuss what the significance of each purse presented means to that individual. The reactions are always fun.
Otter Tail County MN: History of its 1200 county lakes: Presentation captures the early beginnings of using the lakes to swim and fish. Each slide addresses a lake in the county, its use then in the late 1880's and today, the lunkers landed and lost during fishing both winter and summer, and the skating on ice and the swimming in summer.

Crossing the Arctic - Norse Troll Story CROSSING THE ARCTIC is the story of a Norse Fjell Trollet, a mountain troll. Ridiculed because of his lack of cleanliness, Fy decides to follow in his father's footsteps and make his way from Norway to the New World in order to start a new life for himself. Receded fjord waters impacted by glacial movement and ice jams in the Arctic allow Fy to take advantage of his huge height and walk across. Two Nisse, small Norse troll people, accompany him and the three face adventures on their journey to the New World. FY and AINA - A NEW WORLD LOVE STORY FY and AINA, A New World Love Story, is a sequel to the first book in the Norse Trollology Series entitled CROSSING THE ARCTIC. Fy hears plaintive cries for Hjelpe (help)! He performs a water rescue, as he searches for a soul mate and grapples with the hardships of living in an untamed New World. It is a look at what can happen if people of two opposite cultures like the Fjell mountain trolls and the Nisse, who are small dwarf like trolls, have compassion for the other's lifestyle.
